File an incident report with the ship captain AND vessel owner. | |

|
Obtain the names of all witnesses to the accident. | |

Take photographs of the vessel's condition that may have contributed to the incident. | |

|
Take photographs of any visible dangerous or negligent conditions. | |
|
|
Take photographs of any visible injuries including cuts, bruises and trauma areas. | |
|
|
Obtain prompt medical attention. | |
